Shenzhen Second Children's Hospital is a key medical and health project in the "13th Five-Year Plan" for the national economic and social development of Shenzhen. It is located on the east side of Minzhi Avenue and the north side of Minkang Road in Minzhi Sub-district, Longhua District. The project is planned to have 1,500 beds and is a Grade-A tertiary hospital. Build a comprehensive outpatient and emergency building, a medical technology building, an inpatient building, a scientific research and teaching building, an administrative and logistics building, a garbage station, a sewage treatment station, a basement, etc.


To ensure the effective implementation of BIM management at Shenzhen Second Children's Hospital, the BIM team of the Whole-process Consulting Department of Jiangnan Management has compiled a total of four BIM management implementation rules based on the characteristics of project groups and individual projects. More than 10 communication and coordination meetings on problems were organized, and 10 meeting minutes were formed, effectively solving the problems encountered in the construction.


In order to achieve the goal of Shenzhen Second Children's Hospital striving for excellence, we actively participate in the project excellence evaluation. Led by the Whole-process Consulting Department of Jiangnan Management, construction units are organized to participate in various BIM competitions. During the preparatory stage, members of the BIM team of Jiangnan Management's Full-process consulting collected and sorted out the materials of the national BIM competition and carried out the relevant award application work in a planned manner.


During this process, in order to effectively carry out the award application work, we began to compile one document titled "Shenzhen Second Children's Hospital Project 'Longtu Cup' Excellence Creation Planning". Supervise and guide the construction unit to sort out a total of 30 sets of construction BIM materials by item, stage and type, and complete the retention of the materials for future use. The main work carried out is as follows:


The combination of BIM and design optimization

In the early stage of BIM design model optimization, we collaborated with colleagues from the design department to address issues such as unreasonable layout, collisions, and consistency between drawings and models in the civil engineering section and pipeline integration. Early detection, early prevention, and early resolution. Through the tight BIM work in the early design stage, it contributes to effectively reducing design changes in the main construction stage in the future. To complete the above-mentioned tasks, carry out the following work and form the outcome documents:


① It is required that the design institute complete the compilation of the BIM implementation plan before carrying out BIM work, totaling 4 versions of documents. Follow the implementation plan and standardize the BIM work.


② The design institute is required to provide two versions of the clear height analysis for each floor based on the medical special design basis and characteristics. Control the clear height of the main building structure to provide reference data for engineering construction.


③ The design institute is required to provide a total of 5 documents of pipeline roaming videos in accordance with the characteristics of the children's hospital project.


④ Through the visualization model provided by Shanghai Zhubo Design, there are a total of 4 versions of the model; Under the close collaboration of the BIM team members of the Jiangnan Management Whole Process Consulting Department, 553 valid suggestions were put forward. Solve most problems such as collisions in civil engineering and comprehensive pipelines, unreasonable designs, and consistency between drawings and models.


2. Integrate BIM with procurement and bidding work

To support the project construction and ensure that the children's hospital has a high-quality general contractor. During the early bidding process, the BIM team cooperated with the procurement department to prepare the BIM section bidding documents, totaling three copies. At the end of July, I collaborated with the procurement department to complete the bid clearance work for the BIM section. For several bidding units, I conducted professional assessment and scoring on multiple assessment items such as BIM modeling and BIM implementation planning schemes for the refrigeration machine room section as stipulated in the tender documents.


3. Integration of BIM and construction

In the basic section, the BIM team of the whole-process Consulting Department of Jiangnan Management worked in collaboration with China Metallurgical Group Corporation to advance the project.


① It is required that China Jingye complete the compilation of the BIM implementation plan, totaling 17 documents, and put forward 7 versions of revision suggestions. Endow the implementation of BIM with rationality and possibility.


② The construction of the BIM5D+ Smart Construction site platform has been completed, which includes important modules such as safety management, quality management, production management, and BIM+ smart construction site. We can effectively control the actual situation on site, such as daily tracking of safety and quality issues, the completion status of components, on-site photos, on-site panoramic balls, weekly work plans, and overall progress.


In response to the call of the Public Works Department, a total of 55 weekly progress model entries were completed on the Public Works Department's platform. There were 48 safety issues and 60 quality issues, all of which have been closed. And connect to hardware devices such as power consumption detection, environmental monitoring, and video surveillance.


④ For the purpose of construction briefing and publicity, produce animations of the construction procedures and special nodes in the pile foundation stage. It includes 2 versions of earthwork excavation and transportation videos, 1 version of the project's steel cage production, 1 version of the project's construction grouting process, 1 version of the column pile briefing video, and 1 version of the support beam construction node, totaling 6 video files. And put forward six optimization suggestions.


Currently in the preparatory stage of the main construction, the BIM team of the whole-process Consulting Department of Jiangnan Management, in collaboration with the general contractor Shanghai Baoye, is actively carrying out the deepening of BIM work in the early stage to ensure a smooth transition from design to construction. Based on the BIM management plan for the entire process of the first section of the Xinhua Hospital project cluster and the BIM implementation rules of the Children's Hospital, let BIM become a bridge between design and actual construction, and promote the implementation of the project construction.


In light of the current work situation of the general contractor, a detailed "Construction BIM Model Management Process Table" has been formulated.


② The general contractor is required to prepare a BIM implementation plan, totaling 4 versions. Propose two versions of optimization suggestions.


③ Complete the comprehensive adjustment of the B3F pipeline; There are a total of 3 versions of the model, with 38 suggestions.


4. BIM Deepening - Analysis of Unfavorable Points of Clear Height

To ensure the smooth progress of on-site construction, after the general contractor's entry, the BIM team of the Jiangnan Management Full-Process Consulting Department actively carried out the deepening work of the construction model. In line with the task requirements of saving construction costs, meeting actual construction requirements, and achieving clear height control, etc. Conduct multiple unfavorable points for clear height analysis and argumentation, and put forward reasonable suggestions. During the process, three PPT files of the B3F pipe integration adjustment principles were left. One copy of the B3F overall clear height control color block diagram; Six unfavorable points for the net height of typical B3F positions were analyzed, and six reasonable suggestion plans were provided.
