The on-site activities of the Jiangnan Management Rail Transit (Pipe Gallery) Research Center in 2019 were successfully held

From December 14th to 15th, 2019, the on-site event of the Rail Transit (Pipe Gallery) Research Center of Zhejiang Jiangnan Engineering Management Co., Ltd. was successfully held at its headquarters in Hangzhou. This on-site event held four activities: the 2019 Research Center On-site Seminar, training on key points of shield construction Management, training on full-process engineering consulting services, and defense Training for project directors of metro electromechanical projects. The event was hosted by Yu Xiaohua, the director of the research center, and was attended by over fifty project leaders engaged in the fields of rail transit and municipal engineering. Vice President Qiao Dongyang, the company's deputy director in charge, and Liu Zifu, the assistant to the general manager and general manager of the Rail Transit Division, attended this meeting and put forward requirements for the next steps of work based on the topics of the seminar.
As one of the company's twelve major research centers, the Rail Transit (Pipe Gallery) Research Center has been committed to filling the professional gap in the company's rail transit/municipal services for many years. It is dedicated to overcoming technical difficulties in the industry and solving technical and management problems existing in project departments. Since its establishment, the research center has successively compiled multiple supervision work guidance manuals and guidelines, providing standardized and normalized action guidance for front-line project departments.
This two-day on-site event, themed "Focus on Quality, Build Brand", aims to further enhance the service quality of the company's business in the rail transit/municipal fields, increase customer satisfaction, and establish the corporate brand image. The on-site seminar invited the project leaders of the full-process engineering consulting project of Quzhou Heyi Road Cross-river Tunnel, the westward extension project of Suzhou Heshan Road, the civil engineering project of Chengdu Metro Line 8, and the electromechanical project of Xiamen Metro Line 3 to attend. They shared measures to improve the service level of the projects based on the characteristics of the projects and their own years of management experience. And reasonable suggestions for improving the company's service quality were given. The meeting also invited Zheng Dawei, the deputy chief engineer of the company, Yu Xiaohua, the director of the research center, and Yu Jianfu, the senior director, to respectively give lectures on the overview of the whole-process engineering consultation, the defense skills of the director of the metro electromechanical project, and the key points of shield construction management.
In addition, based on the content of each lecture, the participants visited the construction sites of the civil engineering projects of Hangzhou Metro Line 10 and the electromechanical projects of Line 6 in person, and had a lively discussion on the on-site construction control situation. Finally, the project leaders of each mechanical and electrical project participated in the mock defense of the project director, truly simulating the tense atmosphere of the defense and enhancing their ideological awareness.
At the meeting, General Manager Qiao and General Manager Liu respectively expressed their approval of the research achievements of the research center over the years and their satisfaction with the theme and content of this on-site event. General Manager Qiao pointed out that since the company vigorously developed municipal business and entered the urban rail transit field, the research center has always worked with the business division to solve project production problems, providing strong support for the business division to establish a standardized and normalized project service system. As the business types and service models of the Rail Transit Division continue to expand, the requirements for the research center, project leaders and key employees are also becoming increasingly high. General Qiao emphasized that all project leaders and key employees should take on heavy responsibilities, continuously enhance their professional capabilities, and make adequate preparations before opportunities come. In daily work, one should be good at summarizing, deepen and hone one's technical and management skills, and continuously improve one's own and the team's service capabilities towards the goal of providing high-quality services to the owners, so as to provide strong support for the company to adapt to market demands.
Finally, Yu Xiaohua, the director of the Rail Transit (Pipe Gallery) Research Center, expressed his gratitude to the company's leaders for participating in this on-site event of the research center and to all the training instructors for their wonderful sharing. General Yu stated that the Rail Transit (Pipe Gallery) Research Center will, as always, do a good job in providing technical and management services in the rail transit/municipal business field, constantly improve the research result documents, and safeguard the improvement of service quality for the project!
